Then perhaps you could shop around elsewhere for a yard that has one in stock. I get quite a few new fords in at work and have not heard anything of a delay in delivery for falcon utes.
28/03/07 07:52 AM28/03/07 07:52 AM #3 Author Yeah, I know I can get out of it but for once, the salesman is doing his best! Already given me some freebies. When I was selling cars for a living sh*t like this used to happen to us, not much we could do just make sure we got it through pd as quick as possible and make up for it with some freebies if the customer is good. I've been really impressed with this guy so I am gonna stick by him for a bit longer, but I'm getting pretty hungry for that drive! felix

28/03/07 12:18 PM28/03/07 12:18 PM #5 Author Well according to the salesman... its built and awaiting shipment, then its into PD so detail, plates, paint protection, tint, fuel, not sure if they fit the mats, ipod thingy and scuff plates there or at factory. He seems to think he will have a firm date by tomorrow arvo. I rocked up today to seem him in my work van and said 'look what I'm forced to drive!!', he laughed and said he would do what he can.
28/03/07 12:21 PM28/03/07 12:21 PM #6 Paint protection and tint would add a day or two, the rest of the stuff is dealer fit but shouldn't hold it up at all.Where abouts are you getting it from?
28/03/07 12:25 PM28/03/07 12:25 PM #7 Author Denmac Ford IndooroopillyIts my local, I pass there everyday, which makes it hard, keep looking in and expecting to see my ute.
28/03/07 12:27 PM28/03/07 12:27 PM #8 Imagine how pissed of you'll be when you see the apprentices taking it for a pre-delivery "test drive" Sorry, that's a bit low
28/03/07 12:32 PM28/03/07 12:32 PM #9 Author Hehe, true. When I was working at Expensive Daewoo at newstead, I had a customer coming in to pick up his car in the afternoon, and that monring when the car was getting sorted, an apprentice started up the car in gear and put it straight into a wall. When they called me over to the workshop I could not do anything but laugh.
