Hey, Ive got an 02 xr6 turbo.

put it on the dyno only have 204 hp (152kw) found it had a crook fuel pressure regulator.

Replaced that, Ran it again, got 218 hp (162kw) still down on grunt.

The guy I bought it off drove it and said it was down on grunt

Where have all my horses gone.

Any suggestions guys?

cheers

You are going to need to have it checked out. It should be up near 200 at the wheels.

Intake system airleaks, Turbo mount/exhaust manifold leaks, dirty airfilter, dirty fuel filter, dirty throttle body.

start with the itake hose and check for leaks. especially the rubber joiner on the throttle body..

Yeah check for all that, ive tightend the exhaust manifold, new air filter, new fuel filter, taken out the injectors and cleaned them, cleaned the throttle body, replaced spring clamps in the intake hoses, Put the WDS and checked for anything outa place, its making all its boost according to the WDS

Im not scared to get into it, im mechanic by trade so I'm looking to things to try and fix it rather than give it someone to fix.

But thanks for the suggestions so far.

Failing that, get your local friendly dealership to take a look for you
