What happened Muzza? I thought youhad a T56...

Here is a pic of both Supcon (steve) & myself just as the damage to BOTH Utes was about to happen.

Steve on the far side with a tricked up auto & 360rwkw lost drive at the 60ft mark.

Myself the yob who still had window down ripped the ceremic buttons off a 2 week old clutch at the burnout....

Both of us had been hanging to give each other a run on the strip for a while & finally the day came.

If anyone was watching they would have thought it was a set up with the 2 Mercury ute's both loosing drive along side each other like that.

We tried to get a tilt tray that could take both cars back to Newcastle at same time to top the day off.

Gearbox seems ok Muz.

Yep it was.

First run out, never run before and the nerves didn't help.

Ran twice before the rain came down.

Need practice on the burnouts was running street M/T's on the back.

Having trouble stalling up off the line so took off with no boost, first run all over the track due to not warming up the tires. Came on and off boost due to a*se end keep kicking out.

Ran 12.3 first run.

Second run ran 11.9, 122mph, 1.9 60' foot.

Practice and more confidence will help bettering the times.

Special Thanks to Jeff (DBOSS), Jim (F6BF),Pete (Stealthxr) and Nigel for rims and moral support.

Cheers

Bill
