Is it worth getting it checked out to see what sort of shape it is in? Strangely enough I don't really drive it that hard and there was no slow loss of function, it worked fine Friday, didn't work fine Saturday.More tomorrow...←Exactly the same as mine, was good Thursday, parked in the driveway and friday was wrecked....MG Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/33384-4-speed-auto/page/4/#findComment-511817 Share on other sites

Adam Here since the start... Lifetime Members 10,282 Member For: 22y 15d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 31/03/07 09:14 AM Author Share Posted 31/03/07 09:14 AM I got my ute back on Wednesday after deciding to get a full rebuild to Preston Automatics latest spec trans.I'm still currently running it in which basically means babying it around everywhere for at least 500km, so I can't really give a full report just yet but so far I like this level of modification far more than my old trans. The shifts are actually smoother with this trans compared to the old one and there is zero delay before engaging reverse.
