I seen a few familiar car's out there last night owned by forum member's.

Pete (stealthxr) with the Blue one, Jeff with his Black OVA290, and the Red GT with the White pinstripes. Good stuff.  :wtf:

I was the only blueprint T there last night, you sure it wasnt me? There was a few blueprint XR8s?

I did see DBOSS and Saleen's cars but didnt get a chance to meet them, what times did they run?

What time did you get in the red beast Rob??Thrs some good photos of it on the net :wedgie:

Hey muz580 your mph seems low for the power you have... what gear you crossing the line in? 4th?

I was thinking the same thing. Not having a go at you or your tuner but your rwkW figure seems pretty optimistic. Your times and trap speed are not in any way indicative of much over 220-230 rwkW.

15.370 @ 98.17 2.556 60ft

14.616 @ 101.58 2.222 60ft

14.254 @ 102.29 2.203 60ft

13.986 @ 103.67 2.139 60ft

13.502 @ 103.25 2.091 60ft. Dosnt look right... I am no expert but with a low 60 foot and with 300rwk's you should be seeing 12's and your miles an hour should be a little higher..

Jeff peddled my car down the 1/4 on Wed.

Took it out in total street form and pretty bald rear tyres.

Times were :

1) 13.1@104mph 1.960ft

2) Dead run due to transmission limpd1ick mode.

3) 13.2@112mph 2.3860ft

First run the car just didn't seem to have any top end as the mph shows, possibly heat???

Second run was a transmission limp mode special. I had Con lift the threshold on this, but still managed to hit it. At least it's protecting the gearbox I guess.

Third run the car got major axel tramp. These BF's seem to be very prone to this, paricularly the ZF equipped ones. Coincidence maybe.

I got a video of the first run, I'll try and get it uploaded.

I might go out next Wednesday or the week after and give it a hit.

The car has been tuned pretty soft for 312rwkw to protect the T5 and its only my 3rd time down the 1/4.

As I said I am really struggling with the gear changes and my 2-3 change is taking too long. Traction is also a major issue with wheelspin all the way into 3rd gear.

I'll get the times down with a bit of practice and I aim to get a sub 12 before the end of the year with the T5 - if it lasts!

I ran a 13.3 with my 250rwkw tune and T5. That was also with cheapass 19" tyres spinning through 1st and 2nd.

Maybe you should try your 270 tune and see what times it can produce?

I tried the 270rwkw tune the second time I went out, only managed a 14.6.

A 13.3 at 250rwkw is an awesome effort, well done. You should be able to crack a 12 easy with 305rwkw and a T56.

I really think that it wont happen unfortunatly mate.. best of luck though!! definatly budget for a t56 mate.

keep at it! I'll be happy to get near a mid 12, on stock cv's in the end
