March 12, 200719 yr #1 Weather and work permitting I'll be heading to WSID on Wednesday night. Is anyone else going to be out there?
March 12, 200719 yr #2 I wont be going... I did 2 runs last wed and its all just too hard for my arms and legs to manually shift through a decent time lol
March 12, 200719 yr #4 I'd like to get there soon but my clutch is slipping after last upgade. just too much for it I guess.I'll do rods,Clutch & pistons then give it a go. Done a 13.5 with 40rwkw less so will be looking for a high 12.Muzza.
March 12, 200719 yr #5 the first run was 13.7 2.60 60 ft @ 114mp... The next run I slipped the clutch abit and it shat itself and slipped every time I toughed the throttle.tyres are 3/4 worn 265/30/19 yokahamas of some kind.
March 12, 200719 yr #6 I have to agree its hard in a manual to crack the 12s.if I had an auto I would be in the low 12s instead of hi 13s.
March 12, 200719 yr #7 will try to get out there in the next couple of weeks but not able to go this week. I am ready to go but work commitments are holding me back..
March 12, 200719 yr #8 Author I've got to break my 13.9, with my power, a 13.5 should be on the cards easy. Just have to learn how to change gears! Sam/Muzza, we should organise a night for the next few weeks and get a whole bunch of guys out there. When it gets a bit colder would be better I think. If I dont crack a 13.5 on Wednesday on the dunlops I'll be putting in a ripshifter and getting my tune adjusted a bit. I've got to be able to do it surely.
March 12, 200719 yr #9 Im keen to come out and have another go once it starts to cool down abit, maybe early April. We should try and get a private lane like we did last year
March 12, 200719 yr #10 Ive got a rip shifter and it doesnt help much, but I can flat change 2 -3 faster... its the launch that hurts my time
