My New Xr6 Turbo Ute

Hey Everyone,

I picked up a 2004 BA XR6T Ute yesterday. 70,000ks on the clock. Stock as a rock.

Has the premium Brembo brakes. Lightening Strike (I know, I know it's undercoat ha ha). Has warranty until October.

Got it for 27K. Was a bit more than I wanted to pay but the brakes are quite dear as a factory option arn't they?

Anyway, thought I would say hi as I will probably be asking a few questions on here.

Welcome to the forum mate

The Lightning Strike is a great colour and not undercoat like Mercury Silver (HgAg).

As for the brakes, they are not Brembo's unless they are after market. The optional premium brakes are PBR's with the concentric ovals on the disks. Great upgrade of the stock shudders and are not prone to fading, but they do squeel.

I think the option for the premo brakes were $1800 from memory on my old BA, but a worthy investment.

Hey Mate,

Down the bottom of the reply screen you will see a "Attachments

Global Space Left" and browse button to the right. Click on that and browse through your computer for the attachment you need, then click "add this attachment" and hey presto! attached photo!!

Thanks Guys. I am going to deck the back out with some nice velvet curtains and a matress. Also will get a nice custom made bumber sticker "If this T is a rockin..."
