G'day all,

got the go ahead to go for a run out to willowbank to the test and tune on the 17/02/07, have just organised to finalise the bits and pieces I wanted to put on such as the underdrive, power stat ,shift kit and full service.

So this will be the result runs from all the work put in that I have been talking about for god knows how long. As standard I got a 16.2 over the 1/4 so I am hoping to drop well within the 15's, and if I have researched right the 14's all without a flash tune or edit.

I would like to see if anyone else was looking to go out for a run.

Anyway we will see what happens

I may be hopeful on the times I want to get but as long as I get to race and the burnouts are good ones I will be having fun anyway.

Cheers

Jason

Kinda dissappionting as I do have the speed it is the 60 foot that buggers me

60 ft = 2.475

330ft= 6.903

660ft= 10.297

1000ft= 13.156

Et = 15.571

MPH= 93.36

As sam said the burnouts where good and I will load pics later, tried everything to get off the line quiker, per mode, per mode with shift kit, manual mode , manual mode with shift kit.Different stall speeds,1500,1700 flat out.

Looks like I have to diff and maybe stallie we'll see.

going by the mph I should be around the 14.7 to 14.9 mark, please clarify if you can anyone.

At least I got down from the standard 16.28 to now a 15.571 for still under $1000, and the car I think has proven it has a sh##load more in it I just gotta get it going faster off the line

Cheers

that's a bit of a shame for you falcon73, I thought with what you have done you would be looking at a lower 15 or maybe a 14....

Im a bit worried about taking mine out now....

Is there any other way to get these things off the line better??? What rpm etc will get you off best? Is it true that by stalling it up you will actually get a slower start, something to do with the computer???
