MrBean Member 400 Member For: 19y 22d Location: Melbourne Posted 05/06/07 10:51 AM Share Posted 05/06/07 10:51 AM It certainly is not everyone's cup of tea, and not easy to do - but a properly sized twin-turbo setup will always make more average power than a properly sized single turbo setup, Phase3Ute.a Single turbo is almost always easier to setup, and there will be many arguments for and against, but if best streetable combo is being looked for, twin turbos win handsdown - forget all other factors like complexity, etc.To some guys this is not an issue - probably the hardcore guys out there, like Bcl. As I said, not everyone's cup of tea, but it may appeal to the people out there that wants the best possible average powercurve, not just looking at peak.So yes, as I said, why the Skyline guys remove dual- to go to single setup, probably a cost saving measure, definately not for performance. You would have to go a really loooong way to convince me otherwise. But, just my thoughts, you're entitled to yours too.Nice debate though Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/32222-help-required-building-serious-power/page/5/#findComment-540960 Share on other sites
