2nd Cold Air Size Increase....

Gave myself a bit of a project for this arvo and as per usual took twice as long as expected.... but it is done.

Ok,originally had a 90mm pipe being used as my 2nd CAI but wanted gain some more power so an increase in CAI size seemed like the easiest and cheapest way of picking up a couple of kw's....

Previous 90mm pipe

Now 140mm x 90mm rectangle

It works out to be exactly double the suface area of the previous one I had, now you can hear it sucking big time.

Made a big difference is feel and response and the note of the exhaust is much deeper now, sounds great....

Overall very happy with the increase and was definantly worth a couple of hours. Recommend it to the n/a guys for sure.

Just out of curiosity what is the size of the 2nd CA for the typhoon or the xr8???

I have the typhoon lower snorkel, I will measure it tomorrow.
