I read somewhere they have typhoon motors and brembos in the chasers... anyone know if its true?

nah that's not true. They have standard XR6T engines and most of them get the premium brakes.

Until the BF came out and Premium brakes were ended.

They now have the bigger (territory) brakes standard on the BF which is all they use on the cop cars, side bags, reverse sensors and a alloy spare.

They also have XR6 T's in NT. When they cut the open speed limits next year they will probably downgrade to.......................................Holdens? :spoton:

That pic is mine of the Bionic marked car on the nothern beaches. There is also a unmarked bionic with orange stripes.

I have pictures of a T from last years Indy, the copper said it was the most popular chaser on the force. The guys like the torque and handling over the XR8/SS.

N.S.W has been running T's since the BA's in fact they prefer the T over the XR8's because a few XR8's have been known to stall while doing u-turns during chases.

Same problem is experienced throughout the fleet of Fords, from the T's and Xr8's and all the way down to the Egas XT's. The T's are prefferd as they handle better and quicker off the mark.
