Skaif did good too! ←Poor ol Skaifey - without launch control and traction control he has just a little difficulty getting off the line. The starter held them for a long long time and they were sitting on the rev limiter for what seemed like ages before the lights went out and big nose burnt his clutch - very easy thing to do if you're inexperienced at doing race starts.I feel for young Jack Perkins - he was labelled the villain before any real footage was made available upon which to assess what happened - however I didn't hear any apologies coming his way later on after the incar footage showed he was absolutely between a rock and a hard place with no where to go.
