Hi all,

Sorry this may have been posted before. Ive done a search but cant find anything refering to electic oil temp gauge.

Just recently purchased electric oil temperature gauge and am unsure where to contect it to. Can someone advise where they have connected to and where have the wire been run.

Thankx

Most oil temp senders replace the sump plug.

You can also put them on a T piece the same as an oil pressure switch.

You will need to buy the sender that is matched to the gauge you have and make sure it is the same size and thread as the sump plug.

been researching the same thing too. There are adaptors that fit between the oil filter and filter mount. Speco I think, on their web site. These have 2 outlets so u can run both temp and pressure gauges without interfering with the original dashboard sensor. Thinking about going this route.
