How do I get to the back of the Power Source Socket ?????

How do I remove the Plastic Top and Side Plastic.

Any help would be very appreciated.

If its an auto remove the auto shifter handle, if it s a manual you dont need too.

Lift up the gearshift surround (it has a clip in each corner and pops straight up)

Under the surround panel there is two screws that hole the side panels in. remove them.

Remove the two screws that hold the tissue box holder.

Voila access to the back of the cigarette lighter... :stirthepot:

I also found a light globe socket attached to the power / cigarette power wires that got power when the lights are on. You little beauty !!!!!!!

I am installing a twin gauge pot unit.

Super happy. :smilielol:

I was going to run power and lighting from there for gauges originally, but fond it easier to use TC button for lighting, and mobile phone plug for power. Just my thoughts though.

The globe holder is for the optional smokers pack. When you option the smokers pack you are given a cigarette lighter so there is no cover for the power source. There is a ring that glows around the cigarette lighter at night iirc.
