June 5, 200620 yr #11 no worries. try and chat to the head technician or mechanic. I was told that they put the new calipers in to stop the brake shudder but then this problem arose with the pads ratling in their shims.the mechanic siad that he could tighten the pads in their shims or something to that effect but the brake shudder may come back. I SAID DO IT!!anyway 10,000 kms later no rattle and no brake shudder either. it is just that this guy knew what he was doing so you need to get a guy who knows what he is doing.
June 5, 200620 yr #12 Author Well.................. A BIG THUMBS UP TO BRIAN BYRT FORD IN MANSFIELD Not only did they fix my brakes they also redid my power steering rack and have identified my rear sqeek...They put a shim kit on the front brakes and it is sweet..no more rattle..hopefully it will last. The sqeek in the rear is a known problem and they have to cut down or remove a rubber on my rear left spring I believe (Dunno the technical term)..but it will be sweet..I recommend them to anyone that lives in the area Great service and no BS.DaveFinally a FORD dealer that doesnt make excuses.
