My last Falcon back home was Fairmont AU and then AUIII would say the box would be the same, as both engines produce approx same torqueUTE has a slight vibration at around 130-140, wonder if it is wheels? Not really on the steering wheel, more through gearlever.....not harsh, just a faint vibration.....Any ideas on that? It seems to be quite std thing on these 2003/2004 models, or am I wrong? Not saying yours has the same issue though.... ford did tell me its more of an issue on the V8's though.the phantom looks TOUGH on the utes... that's the colour I had Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/25354-do-you-know-this-ute/#findComment-381156 Share on other sites

MrBean Member 400 Member For: 19y 1m 8d Location: Melbourne Posted 13/05/06 07:08 AM Author Share Posted 13/05/06 07:08 AM Yip, good news indeed, as the T5's are not really strong boxes - especially the 5th gear when applying torque from a supercharged motor The T3650 quite a bit beafier in design. The moment I have my hands on this UTE it is going for some nice tuning, I see reference to some blower kit for it...Herrops I believe - you guys aware of it?Otherwise I might do a Vortech kit and boost around 5-7psi with larger injectors - rest should be good for now....
