Diffs

ok, again as most will know my beast is off the road being treated for some injuries. I just spoke to the steering/suspension place, and they said that the diff might also be damage due to the impact it had.

Now, this will be covered under insurance, so I got no problems with that. However, my current diff has been great. No whine, or anything. I'm worried if they replace it with another standard diff that I'll get the usual problems!!! Also, being modified, this diff has handled everything.. and I dont want a weak one because if it goes bang, warranty from ford wont hear about it.

I was thinking of going for an after market diff, and insurance can cover the cost of the standard one, and I'll put extra towards to make up the difference if you know what I mean??

What would be my best bet?? keep standard... or upgrade? if so, what should I upgrade too?? damn, this accident is gonna make me do more mods I can just see it :spoton:

I havent heard of any after market diffs yet!

I suppose a KAZS or KARZ (sorry for the spelling) diff would be the go! a lot of LS1 boys use them seems to be a good choice! not cheap though from what I've heard

OH I KNOW PUT A FORD 9" IN IT!!! THAT WILL HANDLE ANYTHING, WITH A 4SPEED TOPLOADER!!! ha ha ha
