I have read that the ZF is built to handle 600nm, is this correct? at what point of HP have people been strengthening them? and what is involved in the strengthening process? Cheers

Hi, In the Autotech sponsors Forum have some information on my ZF rebuild done by Dominello automatics Sydney.

At the moment there really isn't anything that needs to be done until you go well over 400rwkw.

There really isn't much you can do to them either - what are your plans?

Firstly; Ayrton Senna is GOD, nice user name :spoton:

Yeah.... well I am starting to shop around for Xr6T's at the moment and I would love the ZF auto coz it is a sick box, just cant find any real info on what they really can handle. I read an article in motor magazine and after 2 hot laps of a race track (extreme example I know) the ZF auto XR6T they had went in to 'self preservation mode'. Now if this is the case with stock power, how quickly would the box go into this mode with some 200nm extra? :w00t2: :w00t2:

Will check out what FSIX had done anyways.
