What are the differences between capa and unichip and how exactly do they work? Which has greater play for performance options?

The Unichip is a piggy back cpu that tricks the car. It mainly works by bending the signals from the cpu to the engine mainly fuel and timing. The piggyback was the best tuning tool available until the edit came along.

The edit as the name implies edits the cars cpu. This means that besides altering the fuel and air the tuner is also able to alter many other parameters that can effect the cars performance and drivability. The edit isn't tricking the car either like a piggyback does, it acually alters the cars programming.

At the moment there is one edit available which is the CAPA flash tuner and this has the ability to store 3 tunes which also gives you flexibility.
