Is it a CMOS camera or a CCD?

I'm trying to find a decent wide angle CCD camera to hook up to mine. I've got the adaptor mentioned in one of the above posts from carconverters.

My only suggestion is to get a NTSC if everything else your using is NTSC. PAL if everything your using is PAL. The reason is because the picture scrolls for about a second when it changes between PAL to NTSC.

CMOS 250K, 12V 40mA colour, 152 degree FOV, operates down to 1.5/2 lux. Note, it is a reverse image camera.

Have a look at the camera with the part number OZS9134 in this Link. It is very close to what I have if not identical internally with a slightly different housing. Neither my tech specs with the camera or the one on this website state whether it is NTSC or PAL. I am not technically savvy in this area, I know that there is the different frame rate however, is it the actual camera that provides the frame rate or is it the processing subsequent to the camera that does this?

I`m hoping someone can help me here... I have just finished installing a camera underneath the front number plate, so the wife can park the car and not scrape the sh*t out of the bumper.

Camera is a PAL/NTSC type camera going to a remote controlled av selector then to the RGB convertor. I have DVD on channel 1, camera on channel 2, eventually reverse camer and digital tv on channels 3 & 4.

Problem I have come across is the camera picture on the ICC is continually scolling top to bottom, switch back to the DVD on channel 1 and its fine. Back on camera and it continues to scroll. Can anybody help me solve this.

im no expert, but it sounds like the camera is feeding in a PAL signal into the av selector.

I once had my xbox set on PAL still, and when I plugged it in the ICC the picture was all scrolly, and in almost black and white too.

that sounds exactly what its doing, looking at the scrolling screen looks also to be in black & white also. might have to go and find a NTSC only camera.
