I went to the dealer today and said I wanted Mercury Silver, big brakes, upgrade sound and auto...he got on the computer and there is one available in Sydney right now...

yeah I ordered mine the first week of march. just got leather prem sound. manual. my dealer wont tell me any dates or even when they thing it will go into build.

mine ordered mid march, sido number a few days later, build started 1st April, finished at Ford on 9th April, went to FPV, FPV finished 11th April (today) and went to holding yard awaiting shipping!!!...expected to local dealer wednesday 16th, to me thursday 17th...then I go on easter hols!!!...yeah baby yeah

That is so close to my exact delivery/time process its spooky ! Except I wont get mine till friday :( The dealer is keeping it for 2 days with alarm installation, tints and detailing..

I finaly took delivery on Saturday. Ordered 13 Feb - Delivered 12 April.

It is beautiful :D well worth the wait - got to bring the new baby home from the hospital in it!

My XR6T was ordered on the 26th of November 2002, and I wanted it delivered on the 20th March. Suffice to say the car was late, and I eventually picked it up on April 4. Ford had almost four months notice before I wanted my car. How much time do they need???

My XRT was ordered on 8 Feb, was told April Build, going into line 9 April delivery 20 April. Today followed up just to see all was on schedule. Well it is know a May build. NOT HAPPY JAN!

Ford customer care (what a joke) don't give S%$T!!

Ford are ruining a good product by stuffing people around and people don't forget easily!!I will certainly think twice next time around.

Hi all just recently joined you . Ordered my Acid rush T about a month ago the dealer quoted my an arrival date of 20 May (less than two months!!) Which also happens to be 3 months sooner than another dealer I spoke to could have got it in.

Considering the lag times for delivery that Im reading about Im concerned that I might have been fed a load of bull***t.

Ive got a SIDO no: 382370 I was hoping that someone with access could enlighten me as to whether this is true or not.

ordered mine on 2 oct 2002

got sido no. mid dec 2002

was told it would arrive late jan 2003

recieved it on 21st mar 2003

and the dealer wanted another week to deliver but I insisted no way

it seems to be some dealers can produce quickly and some so slowwwwww.

mate keep ya hopes up it may arrive on time

but when ever it should turn up they are worth the wait
