Just had my 30k service done, and at the end they backed the car into a wash bay over a speed hump, I watched the entire service. As he backed it in he hit the brakes and the front spoiler slammed onto the concrete making a loud noise and scratching the spoiler. I approached the service manager who told me there was no paint on the concrete. He could see through all the muck on the ground bearing in mind my car is black. The guy driving said he heard nothing, I then said I heard and saw it happen, end result they will fix the scratch but infered that I was a liar. :o

No more service work at that dealer, car is having a touch-up on friday, I hope they know I'm really fussy and wont except poor work. :o

That'd suck... Service dept's really do attract all sorts...

I just had my 30K service done and I hated handing the keys over for this reason... BTW who is doing the touch-up - the dealer or a panel beater \ someone else???

I was waiting to pick up my T from a Ford service dept, when one of their apprenitices driving a parts van took off the entire front bar off another Vixen T. What pissed me off the most was that they all started laughing, assholes didn't farken care....poor T owner.....never took my car there again....

You have a couple of options incl going legal, contacting media etc.

One Option to try is to write to the dealer principal and cc: Ford Customer Relations (and if you like the lease company). If you do a little research and actually have the dealer principal's name and a name at Ford Customer Relations it will ensure you get a response. You should explain what happened, explain that you are unhappy with the response to your complaint, explaint that you are unhappy that you have in effect been described as a 'liar.' You might also want to head up the letter 'Without Prejudice' (which hints you might want to consider legal action and that the document can't be held against you) - and finally ask for a meeting or some sort of resolution to the matter.

You might want to attach a receipt for the service to provide additional details.

Good Luck
