igsta Member 371 Member For: 21y 8m 3d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 24/01/06 08:41 AM Share Posted 24/01/06 08:41 AM Thanks Jeff,Most people seem to say they think MRT too expensive, or think they only know how to tune WRX's.You know me mate - when it comes to being a figurehead (aka STOOGE) for one shop - I aint into it, but since they have done all the work on the car, they are the only ones I feel I can comment on apart from hearsay and rumour. For those sydney siders out there - MRT is one of the options. Their edit work is up there with the best - but like all things good work can take a little more time. The cars progress so far is pretty good - it is running plenty rich ATMO so there is heaps more in it, but at this stage we are after a bit of engine life. When its rebuild time, maybe we will push it a bit more to see how it goes!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I dont like to bag others out and Im not going to (I dont think). I did not have as much luck with MRT as Link did. I was having a few issues with my car and a few times back there and they were still unresolved, I did not even get a refund (and yes they are bloody expensive and they keep your car for two or three days.) One trip down to Nizpro and all my issues were fixed in a day with a fair whack of extra kw as a bonus. AdamXR6T is right, you dont always get what you pay for. I will do a before dyno run to confirm my RWKW as I did watch it pull over 260RWKW at intune and will be interested to see 8 months down the track what its pulling before and after the fitment of the parts then a custom retune, I think a safe tune on 12psi is what I will aim for hopefully that will get me about 290RWKW Fred Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22453-edit-tuners-in-sydney/page/4/#findComment-340384 Share on other sites
