I am going to head out and see what I can get this sled of mine to run. I really want to be the first manual and the first F6 to run an 11. All on standard street tyres and pump fuel. Anyone want to come out??

The weather up here in Qld is crap for running quick times in summer - out at WB it will probably still be 30degrees at 5.00pm and 90% humidity. I think I will take a couple of bags of ice to lay over the manifold between runs.

Anyone want to advise some tyre pressures I should be using? Methinks probably around 28psi and only a little heat (read small burnout :sleepystuff: ) in them.

I will be there. Good luck in making an 11sec pass, I think you will be struggling in this heat. Are you sure you want to use standard tyres? and tyre preesure with standard tyres would be 20 psi...

I agree with the struggling bit Jeff. Mate, I am going to give it my best. I don't have any other tyres :3gears: so standard it is going to have to be.

good luck guy's, the track should be grippy, because they have been preparing it for the top fuel cars to run, infact I am surprised they are going to have a street meet that close.

if you come up to Mackay I will lend you some m/t street's. but might be a bit hotter than 30 degree's though.
