Hi Guys,

Late december I posted something up about this and it may've been a little too late notice. This one is on Jan 14th. There are five places left. If you're interested, contact Kevin Flynn (the instructor) on 0413 540 197 asap.

It costs $120 or $140 from memory. Well that's what it cost last year anyway!

Contains a video of an e55 merc on the skidpan and a few pics

Is it possible to tag along for just a gawk at all?

Bit short on cash this close to chrissy... :gooff:

Unfortunately this is at the Attwood police driver training complex. So it's not like going to the drags where you can rock in any time or have spectators. If you tag along with someone who's paying then yeah, I can't see why not. So yeah, who's b**ch can you be! heh

Good to hear dude. Hopefully I will be there, in some sort of quasi staff capacity 'helping out'. You'll see just how easy it is to drift the xr6t compared to a jap car when the find the groove!

AFAIK there's only one skid pan like this in Australia. www.deca.com.au have one but it's designed differentlt. This one simulates four different levels of traction It's a direct copy of one in England.

FYI Boyz. I spoke to soon. Just got off of the phone from Kev at Driver Dynamics. There is a skidpan in Perth. He can organise a skid pan day in Melb, sh*tney, Canberra, Brisbane or Perth. The one in perth is owned by a company called DTEC or something.

But if you want it, you can do it! Get 10-15 rear wheel drive punters together, organise the dosh and you'll be sckidding in no time!

To the best of my knowledge, our skid pan in Melb is the only one of it's kind. It's 'special'.

I will be going on the 14th too. But unless any potential specatators or hangers on have farts that smell like strawberries and champagne or piss optimax, my passenger seat will be empty.
