I had to pass on a place because my ute wouldn't fit in the garage. real estate dude has and xr6 also and he says he wedges a pillow against the wall so he can squeeze it in his garage

I usually use the headlights, usually the perfect guide, handy for work when you have no choice but to go in the 'mid sized' car parks.

Plans are to knock out the rear wall of th garage anyway as there is a patio right up to the fence line, make a good car port and still pleanty of room for an entertainment area.

The other option is getting a MKII 6 speed sedan for the right price......lol. Bloody ute!

sounds like the better option... I wouldnt bother with mods with the T5, when it dies to fix it with a new T56 would cost more than upgrading to a MKII!

Maybe you should ramset a piece of wood onto the floor at the right spot so you can drive onto it each time you enter.

Or the old tennis ball attached to a peice of string to just rest on the screen at the right spot?

Pffft! Best way is to just get a tow bar and reverse in till you hit the wall!!!

Only works on brick walls though...

Hahaha, The week I'm having, lol, that sounds like a grand option, just hope the job is done 1st attempt.

Came so so close to saying yes to a fully optioned MKII Velocity XR8 sedan today, $12,800 change over, may still do it, the day is young...lol.

How about fixing a small mirror to the wall at about bonnet height just at the "right" angle so you can see how close the front number plate is from the wall....

or you could rent some space in my 4 car garage...lol. Best (or maybe one and only) thing the that owned the house previously did....

True dude. It's a "cozy" little place. Need less space in the roomy lounge/family area and more car space......Oh well.

Haha, width isn't the problem but I'd still have to be careful. length definatley is the problem. Have to seriously take up jogging or power walking every morning, not be such a fat lol.

Or, just buy the Foon I looked at today
