That seriously sucks.

What are you looking to trade to?

With trade in value like that, you'd probably want to sell privately, or look at a different make.....

That's gotta hurt. I know it's been said before, but you just don't get your money back on options. $32500 is actually 2000 above the Glass's Guide top of the trade-in price range which is based on a new price of $46125. Normal 3 year old values are around 60% which means you're on the way to $27600 worth of car in 2007 :spoton:

A Turbo Fairmont with standard options like those might be a different story...

Hi Guys I just bought a New Mkii turbo, auto with premium sound, XR matts, XR scuff plate inserts, mud spatts, bonet protector, fog lamp guards, tow bar and metallic paint through a ford employee discount program and I drove it away for $35 600. :tease:

YEAH !

Ford ripped me off and made me think I was bending them over for getting a $5000 Ford partnership programme discount at the same time !

The best offer I've had is $28500 and the car is not even 1 year old (Dec 04) and has less than 21000km on it.

The T just sits there now, waiting for a new home, while I drive my new work car.

I wonder what a 2 year old T with less than 21000km will fetch?

Gotta love that employee discount.

I had it on the first one and it hurts not having it now... :spoton:

I was just wondering would there be any advantage if a Ford employee you knew bought the car for you with their employee discount then sold you the car with say a small "spotters" fee? Is that illegal and would the savings warrent it. I don't know how much savings a Ford employee discount is. I imagine redoing the rego may be an few thousand after the sale, so that might negate any savings through an employee discount programme. Any comments from the gallery?
