Hey Guys,

Just went window shopping for a new car and saw the Centre Ford here in Perth had a Mk2 GTP 6sp and a 04 Typhoon 6sp with Brembos for sale. They had VIC plates and looked a pretty used but the interesting thing I noticed is on the build number plaque inside the car, it had 'P 002' and 'P 014' respectively.........

Whats the P for?

btw they wanted $62k for the GTP and $55k for the phoon.....

IMO they are to be steered well clear of ...

I thought that it stood for Press car, which as you can see in the mags spend more time sideways and smoking that not. Either way Like Turbo6Man said, generally to be steered well clear of...

ahh I didnt know that so what is on the normal FPV range before their numbers?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

afaik they just have for example, a normal one would be just

"005" where as the pre production ones would have "P005".

pfft.. as if half the people that buy an FPV wouldn't thrash the sh*t out of it anyway...

as long as its got warranty it should be right. I think the depreciation for one would be terrible though. :spoton:
