Hey guys I have a June 04 build auto and I was wondering when the new strengthened auto was introduced to the BA range.

I'd be interested to know too. And if anyone knows when the changes were introduced, could you please also detail exactly what those changes were (did they really get kevlar bands)?

when I got my stall put in,we checked the condition of my bands and clutch plates

and the guy doing it said it had kevler band and different clutch plates then they normaly have. mine is a 2/ 04 model.

I was told that if the serial number on the box has a K on then end then it is already kevlar equipped, if not, it just has normal bands. I think they changed to kevler bands sometime in very late 03
