Thanks mattson. You're right, whilst it may not quite be $1500, it's still a very significant saving! Unfortunately for me, Canberran dealers seem to think they have a monopoly (or very wealthy) market here and are invariably unwilling to negotiate much on price when it comes to electronics. I have driven to Sydney on numerous occasions to buy things like TVs, decent speakers, etc, and have saved heaps by doing so. :spoton:

I finally took some pictures of my home theatre. Although it was a today, a day I would rather forget! Anyway what do you guy's think?

Oh and that's my little block sitting on the cabinet, Hunter and he is 2 and wants to race cars!

I think your screens a bit small.. unless the midget sitting on the cabinet needs a bigger hat :P

I just imported the logitech Harmony remote - This is a great tool to get rid of all of your remotes. works a treat, has USB and is configured on the WEB. a great step forward in remotes.

I can really recomend one. The WAF factor is 98%.

I am running a Yamaha system, it was only a budget system but for the money it is a great system. Not sure of the model, I just walked in and bought it one day as my older Sony one did not have a component out for the projector. This one has active sub and small satelite speakers (I wanted these for a more stealth look which was my wife insisted on if I was to get it).
