hi guys, I have a boost problem. My turbo is making 265rwkws on mostly a phase 2 kit, it does however have a pwr intercooller which was already on car. The t is pretty consistent but can wander up 14 psi from where tuned at 9-10 psi. Ive heard the Aps actuator wastegate will fix it. Does it still need modifying to the turbo flange. And how do I get one? as im aware it aint an APS cooler. Or does any one else have any solutions. As I want to get to the very exciting 300rwkw mark. Have to admit I addicted to the t

I have a stock acuator on mine and it spikes abit in cold weather from 12psi up to 16psi.

If I go a aftermaket acuator it will run minumin of 16psi which I will wait till my auto is rebuilt.

300rwkw is good but you want moreand more I want. :kissmy:

Hope this helps.

I have the full APS Phase II hardware then replaced the stock intercooler with a PWR intercooler, ripped out the Unichip and had a Custom Edit. In order to get the 300+ rwkw with consistent boost, we also replaced the stock wastegate actuator.

For a full write-up of my tuning experience, including dyno graphs so you can see the boost levels, check HERE.

All the best.

Thaks guys :spoton: that's orsim, it sounds like an edit may fix the problems. And that 300 kw figure looks good to me. But have to admit budget is shot at mo, so may have to be gentler on the foot until until the finances allow. Just curious has any one done an after market fix on the wastegate? thanks again
