Guest BB805Y Guests Posted 20/06/05 12:35 PM Share Posted 20/06/05 12:35 PM Just had my BA2TAuto flashed and it is sensational however, when it put the boot in out in the wet, the traction control sh*tes itself and then decides to remain on permanently until I turn the ignition off and back on. Pressing the dash button does zip.Has anybody else out there had this experience? Not that it worries me, kinda appreciate it in a way...stops the car snapping sideways @ 60 plus. It is actually OFF!!! So be careful, particularly in the wet.Traction control in these cars is on by default when you start the car. When it activates, the traction control light flashes. To switch TC off, press the button on the dash. This will turn the dash TC light on, to tell you the system is switched off.One of the standard issue with the current EDIT software is, that the traction control settings are not quite correct to control wheelspin. When the system activates but fails to stop wheelspin, it switches itself off. I've had the most recent suggested updates included in my tune to no avail. It's been raining here for a few days, and the car breaks traction. The only difference in the current settings is that the TC doesn't actually switch itself off.Just be careful.
