You guys found my weak spot. No BS, I have had over 100 mobiles, don't keep any of em more than 2 months typically.

My PB (Or personal worst really) is 5 in two weeks.

I was in the industry for years, the latest and greatest never fulfils expectations, so it's next!

I ordered #15 today, should be here tomorrow.

I got it on a $30/month telstra plan with $30 incl. calls.

Motorola V620

I checked out those V3 razr's but they were heaps more per month and freeking ugly. Sure they are thin but they are so wide!! Also the screen felt a bit flimsy.

Only ever had Motorola flip phones, couldn't wouldn't own a Nokia, the first one was analogue back in '95, since then I've had about 9 or 10 others, the current one is a V620, I love it but will change it shortly to something that can handle a bit of dirt & may have a little better signal strength as we are often out in the scrub. since 2001 I've had a full in car kit in my last two Falcons & the work vehicles I drive aren't fitted with any such devices & blowed if I'm going to talk on the phone while driving, I pull over or ignore till I do

Just so you know, my bluetooth car kit and holder to suit any phone/GPS/PDA combo in any car is available in the for sale section today.

Only ever had 2

1. A nokia 3310 (I think that was the number)

2. A siemens S55

The S55 started falling apart within a week of getting it, and at the beginning of the year it died completely, a bit of a sh*tter as I lost my entire phonebook in the process...

The 3310 on the other hand is 4 years old, and whilst it's now in dire need of replacement here is what it has been through

1. Dropped from the 3rd story of a building

2. Dropped into a fish pond

3. Dropped at the beach into the sea, came back a little while later to find in sitting on the beach (in the dark whilst drunk as anything)

4. Dropped from my pocket on an almost daily basis...

5. Left outside after a NYE party for the night...

These are the things that I remember... It's taken a hell of a lot of punishment...

BTW if anyone wants to get rid of their current phone I'm looking at buying one soon (got bugger all to spend on it though...)
