Posted 10/05/05 08:59 AM Posted 10/05/05 08:59 AM I haven't paid for the custom tune yet (only the box) as he hasn't finished. I'll find out next week. .....A nice fat curve like that, and you say he hasn't finished!! .....can't wait till the final figures great results.

Mark hopes to pull a few more kw out of the custom tune yet and he will do a little work on the 8psi tune for me as I will probably use this a bit for around town. I haven't calculated the torque on the custom tune yet but it may be getting up towards the 650+ Nm which is why I will probably run the 8psi a bit until T56's are half the price they are now. Looking forward to a run down the strip very soon. You can book an appointment on some Saturdays with Mark just give them a call to arrange it. I know I'm more than happy with the job he has done and the car will go back there for anything else I want in the future.

This is not safe! I am sure this is a bad thing! What are the rules regarding using standard injectors!? It thought it was around 85% duty cycle.

And now that the Ford Smart Arst Reflash has trashed all the good original work with my CAPA piggy back setup, looks like I'm heading in the direction of more $ for the custom setup. (Hope the CAPA guys will be kind to me on a trade up!) Rotor - might PM you ltr...

I was very particular in asking Mark to pull back the tune anywhere required to keep it safe. Outright horsepower is not a concern for me (whether it was 240, 245 or 250rwkw) it just had to be safe. On some of the earlier runs it had Lamda values around 0.76/0.77 I think which is why he pushed on further.

Mark is wanting to get a good mark2 program prepared first.... he wasnt happy with the original tune out of the box
Rotor Member 18 Member For: 22y 1m 7d Posted 15/05/05 10:51 AM Author Posted 15/05/05 10:51 AM The car is great. It is the first time I have actually really enjoyed driving it so far. It was such a step down in performance from my RX7 to the XR6T. The car pulls nice and hard through the midrange in particular. Go and get Mark to give it a tune. If you are lucky enough to have good valve springs like mine then you will have a pretty cheap upgrade. You might want to book in soon though as I'm having trouble finding a time free to get mine back in there.
