May 4, 200521 yr #11 Are projectors good enough now that you can use them during the day or are they a strictly blinds drawn, lights out option?
May 4, 200521 yr #12 Author Projectors are still not good enough to have exposed to much light at all, so its a blinds down lights out job.

May 5, 200521 yr #15 I'm contemplating the acer PD523 ($2100) or the BenQ PB6210 ($2400) because they're more in my price range. Both are DLP, and both have a contrast ratio of 2000:1, with 2000 lumens brightness. Not bad for the price.I know they're both technically "data projectors" and neither are native WXGA, but they both have reasonable reps. You guys out there got any comments or suggestions?
May 5, 200521 yr #16 Author Yep a pick would be great thanks,Probably going to go out and buy it tomorrow, that movie was pretty good!!Dave
May 5, 200521 yr #17 anything with skin tones in it. ppl have to look like ppl.. also watch some sport, pref footy, an see how the grass looks. sometimes it can be fluro green and a blob... Watch some dark movies too, and ask what screen it's playing on, if it's not what your buying, it won't look the same..DONT WATCH ANIMATIONIf they demo it with animation, they're hidin something... happy hunting..
