Having a chat with the Sales Manager there and he said he will donate a little prize package together for what we choose (Maybe shiniest car or furthest travelled etc) in return for a Promo shot of the car's in front of the dealership, which will hopefully be in the local rag

I think Canberra is south of Batemans Bay, and I'm in the south of Canberra so I would have travelled the furthest. If it's not I'm going to Cooma - Bega - Batemans Bay then cruise up with Jeff :lol:

I can't confirm if I'm going yet, need to speak to the Calendar to see if we have anything on around that time but she'd had a sh*t day today. Didn't even do the dishes after making dinner... So I'm staying away for a while... :lol:

I have voted for the 24-27, but I am actually available all three weekends in June at the moment.

Might be worth noting that:

QLD School Holidays 18 Jun - 3 Jul

NSW School Holidays 2 Jul - 17 Jul

Not sure if it really matters, but might be harder to negotiate a better rate with the accom if they are busy.

I will have to confirm with the boss if I can get the four days once we have firmed the dates up a bit.... Might even need to check with the wife as well.

- June work trip to USA (strong rumour)

- August cruise to Tassie (25% maybe...)

I voted 24th etc ... but whatever weekend it is in June, Therese (yes, I did consult her ) and I will be arriving very late on the Fri night and driving home Sun night. Bloody work!!! So it's important to us that all the really good things are happening on Sat and Sun. Hint hint - like the go-karts and hillclimb. I think a figure of $70 or such was mentioned for the karts??? Do we have definite cost and what it all includes. 'Cos if I had to choose between the karts and doing a hillclimb I'd opt for the hillclimb. Do we have a cost of this yet? Sorry for all the Qs lumpy...

South end of Canberra is still a good way north of me ol' mate ... looks like you're in for a drive through Bega

Yep, that should cheer her up Take yerself for a looong drive ....

I'll be on the busses so won't be able to get away from the Bay until about 5pm - probably go over to Goulburn (6:30pm) and up the Hume, then Cumberland to Hornsby (9:30pm), then onto the F3 for the run north from Sydney. I'd expect to be arriving Coff's a bit after midnight, probably about 1am??. Can anyone confirm exact travelling time from Hornsby to Coffs as I haven't done the Pacific for a couple of years? I've seen anything from 4 to 6 hrs mentioned so who has done this run lately? If it's 6 hrs it is getting a bit out of reach for just a weekend for me, and I can't afford too much time off work so can't really pinch an extra day this close to when I'm planning a couple of weeks holiday the next month. It still seems to me South West Rocks or thereabouts may be as far as I'd be comfortable travelling after working all day Fri.

You're welcome to drive with us Cro, and anyone else driving up from the south, if you don't mind the very late departure time.

OK, so I'm not saying that we'll definately be there ... but we'd love to, and if we do, we'd love to drive in convoy with others.

Maybe a meeting point at Woolies Mt Annan to join up with the southern boys???

.. anyway, not sure about this yet ... sounds really good though ...
