I test drove a white one, they also had a blueprint XR6. Went there yesterday to get my Explorer serviced and they've added a Phantom XR6 to the line-up as well as an Acid Rush Fairmont Ghia. And that acid rush is not an easy colour to ignore. I figure you'll see one coming up a mile away. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/169-xr6-sightings/page/2/#findComment-1475 Share on other sites

I haven't drived over to their other lot here in Canberra, nor have I checked out our other Ford dealer. Basically, I'm a lazy sod and I like the service I get from my "local" dealer who's been servicing my Explorer for the past two years. I'm also pretty loyal to places I get decent service from. Guest Phantom Guests Posted 20/11/02 10:38 PM Share Posted 20/11/02 10:38 PM I followed an acid rush XR6 on the way to work this morning. No Turbo badge. The chrome towbar looked great and even though I've got nothing to tow I might get one. What a beautiful car, it really made me appreciate what I am supposed to get next week.I am definately not counting my chickens. Guest stu Guests Posted 26/11/02 04:35 AM Share Posted 26/11/02 04:35 AM Saw my first XR6 Turbo on the road - a red ute, heading up the Hume, so I guess it was heading 'home' to the Broady plant. Wrong interior colour, I didn't go for the option as I think the Phantom Purple interior looks a Million $$. My Phantom Beauty came with the "optional" (and I didn't ask for it) grey interior didn't it!!!!!Solution: Wait until the next one is available.........So instead of next Tuesday/Wednesday, it will be late January 2003. ARRRRGGGHHHHH. Ford is starting to pieve me awf.Not happy. We also went for Phantom with phantom interior, and l have to admit there were times when l wondered if it might be a bit too bright. l am glad to hear you think it is sooo good its worth waiting a couple of extra months for!! Our car is meant to surface next week, l hope they read the order form a bit more closely than when they built yours Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/169-xr6-sightings/page/2/#findComment-1726 Share on other sites
