I got a call today to say that my car would be a May 05 build.Does this mean the car isnt being made till may or that its currently being made but wont be plated till may?Also, anyone with some experience as to how long it possibly takes before it gets shipped out to my dealer?The options I got for it were:Winter WhiteSunroofLeatherPremium SoundI was going to be buying JB's car, but my work had a hissy fit and said they would only buy a new car, if I didnt like that I could look elsewhere for novated leases

Order April, build and delivery May. Once it is finsished production, it should only be a few days delivery to the dealer other than having accessories fitted.Enjoy.

But when depends on which batch it is in. You could have it delivered early June if it happens to be late in May. But statistically, Id expect it about 18th-20th May.

Looking at your list of options, the sunroof might add a day or two.

Sunroof can take a while, sometimes two weeks, depends how busy FPV are, and they don't seem to hurry doing sunroofs UNLESS it's in one of their own.

Posted 11/04/05 04:46 AM Posted 11/04/05 04:46 AM My car was sitting at the FPV factory for nearly 2 weeks waiting for a sunroof...The official response was that there was a parts shortage... (Although given it was around easter I think it was more staff shortage... :lol: )
