lawsy taking it back to ford on wednesday what shouldnt you tell them they asked how I knew performance was down I told them I drove a mates t sedan and it was heaps quicker should I tell them ive had a boost gauge on it ?

It wont matter to ford that there was a boost guage installed, just tell them why you put it on in the first place and they will probably use it for the same reason too.

FIST will diagnose and fix the problem no worries I'm sure.

But Ford should diagnose and fix the issue. Hold them accountable. If FIST charges you for their time, get a written report on what they find wrong, and keep receipts.

Take it to Ford Customer service, make a case of it, and demand they reimburse you for the costs of fixing it.

I'd be going to your dealer before going to FIST, for ths simple fact you need to hold Ford accountable for the problem.

Your dealer should have a boost gauge that they use to check the boost. Get them to hook it up alongside your gauge, and take them for a drive in it.

Demonstarte the problem, and demand they fix it.

And demand a courtesy car.

No boost... That's absolute bullsh*t. And with the compression ratio of the Ts, you'll be slower than an XT.

So far im thinking that the actuator is stuck open. we just have a EB on the dyno at the moment.. I also have a head Ford mechanic coming in today to look at the car...

the job will be a warranty job for sure we just want to give them the problem so they dont try 10 other things first and give Sean 20 other excuses of what it could be...

God ford sheets me!!! They’re attitude is just ridiculous!!

I had the centre muffler removed and they said that if I didn't put it back to standard they would void my warranty!!!!!!! I swiftly changed dealers...

I have mates with commos with full exhausts, cai, edits and have been back for gearbox/clutch issues and Expensive Daewoo fixed it no questions asked!!!!

That’s the attitude you want, a company that's willing to support car enthusiasts.

Dave.
