Venom Xr6t Owners In Canberra.

Know how you feel Jason, was really worried about the Mercury Silver (lots of silver cars around and its a bi%ch of a colour to match) was tossing up to go the black (can't spell sillouette) but having owned a dark blue El decided the work in keeping it shmick was too much (not to mention the bloody stone chips). That said I'm really happy with the MS so whatever colour you pick the car will look......horny B)

Or you could get white, I think it looks good, with contrasting dark tinted windows.

And a hidden benefit is the front bumper is white plastic, so when you scrunch it into the gutter, the scratch marks are invisible... :D

I am stiill undecided between a blueprint and venom XR6T. I have seen a few blueprint in the flesh, but I haven't seen a venom. I have seen plenty of photos of both, but like everyone has mentioned, the pictures don't do the colour justice. I am leaning a little towards blueprint, although I like both. the missus is really set on the venom, but the only thing holding me back from the venom is that I associate red with Holden. although the venom looks great on a BA XR6.

if there are any owners from canberra (northside or gungahlin area) of either colour, but mostly of venom, would they mind if I could get a look at the machine. I will be at gungahlin marketplace this saturday around 10.45am if anyone is in the area. I drive a AU2 xr6 ute in Monsoon. or just pm me and we might be able to organise something. I really appreciate it......

otherwise.........does anyone have any insights or opinions into owning either of the colours???

Yep, mines Venom red. and I live in Gungahlin. Unfortunately I have to work Saturday so I can't meet up at GTC. You can come down to my work in Mitchell and see it if you like, I'll PM you the details.

I was originally going to get Phantom, I considered Venom but dismissed it because AU was available in that colour (dumb reason I know) but when I went to the dealer to place my order they had a Venom XR6 there and I fell in love!

I think you had beter get the Blueprint one, there's not allowed to be 2 Venom XR6Ts in Gungaglin! :nugget:

Bit of a boring old stick in the mud mate!! Stock apart from the rear power windows scuff plates, XR mats and momo gear knob. RATHER BE SEEN DRIVING IN A NON TURBO XR6BA IN BLUPRINT THAN A SV8 CRUMMYDORE!!!!

PS I got mine out at woden, the guys at the belconnen dealer couldn't come close to the price Nathan gave me out there! Let me know if you get yours on time or not and we will have to get together out at GTC with falchoon your self and I when they arrive!

Gungahlin is about to see a new XR6T on its streets. I am just about to complete the deal to get the thing in my hot little hands. Hopefully the delivery time won't be too excessive (everything is crossed)

Relax my friend. Was getting Acid Rush but saw a blueprint XR6 Ute on the way home and I think I've changed my mind again. So it'll be Acid Rush OR Blueprint. Once I get back the lease quote it will be order the car time

All you Canberra guys, why not come along to the FPV - Tickford Club meeting and join up. We had a dyno day today at Tuggeranong. I scored 194kw at the wheels . We are planning a cruise shortly and a show and shine for later in the year. It is a lot of fun and a great place to share ideas and learn a thing or two.
