It isnt that bad. It is more euro styling to me then American styling. Expensive Daewoo too are heading towards this styling too (look at Torana TT36 which is suppose to have alot of the VE Late model camira design in it) Also of note, they only saying design future of Ford as Ford need to get the Falcon on global market otherwise they just wont have the development $ coming in to match Holden.

If they release in on a global market then it'll end up a small FWD v6 like most american family cars :pooh:

Glenn for keep the falcon aussie :nono:

Ford have plenty of FWD cars. The RWD sedan market is coming back big and Ford have nothing on offer which is WHY the Falcon needs to go global. Keep it Aussie yes, but if keeping it Aussie means all $ coming in is only from Aus and NZ sales then they WILL NOT compete with Expensive Daewoo who will have ALOT of $ to spend on development. Simple really. Think about it.

Comparing with these other yank tanks I reckon the styling of it is pretty american... :nono:

I really hope the fusion's styling doesn't rub off too much onto the 07 falcon

As opposed to the styling of European models such as...

Ford Focus

Opal Vectra and Astra

opel_vectra_xx.jpg

opel-astra15s.jpg

It is a universal style Glenn. All of these cars NOT sold in the US. The US gets a different Focus to that one pictured from Europe.

Also, look at the Cadillacs, very sharp lines. Something the Euro models and the '07 Falcon dont feature.

Oh well FORD can do what ever they like, BUT I am sticking with My 03 BA model thanks, don't like that look . Looks too Retrosexual, not tough like the XR range, speaking of which, wouldn't that new look be weird with the bonnet bulge, and hey Doesn't an American guy now run Ford Australia, probably explains why it will happen too, HES BLOODY HOMESICK ALREADY.
