Track Day Oran Park Saturday 15th Jan

I haven't been on the site for months but I'm interested in this day. Are there any spots left?

The rules of the day have been revised by arron magills insurance company and Oran park management. Some of them are harsh and this is directly related to the ever-increasing insurance debacle occurring within the motorsport community

arrons rules

· Drifting allowed only through turn 1, 2 & 3( no drifting over the flip flop basically)

· No drivers allowed on track who are suspected of being over .05

· 5 car lengths between drift cars, passing allowed after turn 3.

· No "fish tail drifting on main straight. (approaching turn one is ok eg 300m)

· No "douhnuts" after a loose whilst drifting.

· Long sleeve shirt, pants and covered shoes for all drivers.

· limit wheelspin on grass areas. For control.

· All cars scrutineered for wheel nuts, spacers, loose objects, seat belts and oil reservoirs to be covered by cloth.

· 2 passengers ride session during the day with instructors or selected drivers.

· Any mechanical breakdown that causes track surface deterioration shall be rectified by the driver of that car along with helpers.

· Any large tyre chunks will be removed at days conclusion.

just got of the phone form motul and they have offered a bottle of their top of the line 300v 15w-50 comp engine oil for the person I select as most improved drift on the day

so you might make back part of the entry fee for the day

it retails for 90 bux and is the dux guts of the motul range

Clean your bloody ears out, my XR is in perfect shape which is more than I can say for your bent guard, bucked rims, scraped underbody, snapped valve spring, inside tyre wearing, no hand brake, brake shuddering, diff slipping lump of crap you call a car.
