Looks like everyone had a good time out on the track. The driver of the lotus that was there informed me that later in the day a Monaro was giving him a run for his money getting to 250 down the main straight of the full track, passing the lotus who was still doing a mighty fine 200. Be nice to have that kinda money to play around with. I apologise for the quality of the attached pic, however the good camera's battery decided to pack up so had to use the backup camera. This is the Lotus after he just got past the TS50 on the corner where the Forrester lost grip, you can see the dirt the Forrester left on the track after his wild excursion. I will try dig out some more pics.

Nah, that crap was on the track all day. I was one car behind the Forester and he kept it on the track..........just. I work with him and we got a good laugh out of that!

Ahh fair enuf.....when I was on the hill it looked like he had it side ways and off the track. Was hard to see thru trees in some parts.

As I quickly posted on Sunday this day was the best fun I have had with my clothes on for a long time. Thanks Ian for organising such a fun day. My poor car is a little worse for wear with no tread on the inside of the rear tyres and a very soft brake pedal I think the brakes are stuffed, the vibration it had in it at 100kmh is now there at 80kmh and is a lot worse. After standing on the pedal from 150 - 160km into a couple of the corners and feeling the way the brakes were shuddering I am not surprised they are stuffed..

My co - driver loved the day and when I was in the group with the lotus, R34, WRX and porche 911 he was at me to "go faster dad catch the porsche", I had it flat to the floor!!! He is coming on fine and my dream of a Targa Tassie drive with co-driver as my navigator is progressing well.

Car goes in for a service tommorrow and new brake pads and tyres so hopefully it will be as good as new.
