T Vs Gt

I went for a test drive today in a MKII GT,I was hopeing this thing would be wild as I would like to trade the T for one.But to truthfull it is a slug compaired to the T.I know it is V8 vs TURBO 6 but for the extra price I would go for the typhoon.  Speaking of the typhoon the test drive I had in that thing is a whole new story in it's self two word's Fcuking awesome!!

All new BOSS V8s are a bit slow. They don't really get up and go until they have at least 20,000km on them.

I have driven a lot of different new BAs; GT, GT-P, Pursuit, XR8 & XR6T and all of the V8s were pathetic compared to mine with 70,000km on the clock.

On the other hand I have also driven a couple that have had a few Ks on them. These went well, as good as if not better than mine.

Interestingly the V8s improve a lot with time whereas the 6Ts seem to be close to their optimum from day 1.

See if you can get a test drive in a s/h GT, you may be surprised.
