Looking for a new or near new small/medium sized car for the better half.

Open to suggestions but am particularly interested to hear from anyone who has either a mazda 3 (hatch or sedan) or new golf.

Before anyone asks, the fiesta is a bit too small and the focus didn't inspire the potential new owner...

Thanks.

BTW, she may read this so for God's sake don't mention the RX-8. I think I just finally got her to admit it's out of the question. :msm:

The golfs are really nice. We were checking them out at the brissy motor show. Subaru forresters are pretty cool too.

Honda Accord Euro.  :crybaby:

Yep, l'd second that or the Mazda 6. Both very high quality cars with strong resale and good looks. Hard to beat that.

I think she'd be incredibly hot in an F250 powerstroke diesel.

I hate Golfs. Volkswagen just bore me to tears. Toureg shmoureg

And if you're driving either of them you had better have a look at the Liberty as well. There isnt much separating these 3.
