how much hp does this thing have?(all trims plz)

Turbo engines:

Ford XR6 Turbo 322Hp and 331 ft-lb (@ 2000 rpm)

FPV Typhoon F6 363Hp and 406 ft-lb (@ 2000 rpm)

There are other falcons too ranging from the basic six cylinder XT (244Hp 4.0L inline six DOHC twin VCT 24 valve), the LPG version of this engine, then the 5.4L SOHC (300Hp) V8, the basic 5.4L DOHC engine (348hp) and the top of the line FPV 5.4L DOHC V8 (389 Hp).

Generally the XR6 Turbo runs low 14's for the quarter. Some cars have dipped into the 13's though, stock. They are easy and cheap to modify for a lot more power.

and Y are they not in the US?

Short answer:

They are Right hand drive and are made in Australia only for Australia and New Zealand.

Long answer:

Ford HQ doesn't want to let the secret out that the Australia division has been on the ball while they have generally dropped the ball. The previous CEO of Ford Australia did provide Falcon for evaluation by Ford US executives, but they quickly turned down the offer.

will they be?

No. Atleast not in the short term (in the next 5 years). They would only be sold in the US if they could produce them there. At the moment that doesn't appear likely. Ford US will instead make the 500, Crown Victoria and the Taurus for US customers.

It appears there is some aspects of the falcon which may show up in future vechicals sold in the USA.

Wonder what the responce would be like if Ford got 10 F6 T's, all in different colours, and toured around the US for a few months....

I would bet my house (which isn't even mine) that you would get so many damn orders that it wouldn't be funny...

Everyone I have spoken to that have either heard about the Falcon and Territory from me or the Car and Driver article that was posted here a couple of months back really like it. Good size for family, plenty of power and easy modded.

I know for a fact it would sell well here. Like mensioned it wont be coming to the US anytime soon, maybe in the future. Having the tooling over here to make the US models here would definatley help the case. Maybe they can import the engines from Aus and put together the body here...

Its all about risk management.

Risk: If we (talking first person from Fordau) were to take on the project, how can we guarantee sales? Will we lose out or win?

I guess its whether they have big enough balls to make the tools ( :nono: ), and do the LHD conversion.

I think with the good lemon laws in america, ford might want to tighten up the quality and get rid of the silly problems they have or they will be spending just as much time refunding customers as selling cars.
