If there had have been one independent witness, just one, there would have been at least a couple of people watching the season from the inside of Long Bay.The players admitted to the group sex and most of the behaviour. The only reason it didnt proceed is they all would've lied on the stand to cover their asses, leaving the victim exposed to the ravages of their million dollar barrister.If you think they were 'proven innocent' then you are kidding yourself. They refused to cooperate with the Police (providing them with a one page statement instead of particupating in an interview), refusing to particpate in DNA testing (El Masri) and showed a contempt for the syatem with their attitudes and dress sense. Sure they are under no obligation to do any of the above but if you were an 'innocent' man wouldnt you do everything to clear your name ?Ratbags the lot of them
