So what happens when you get your APS/Nizpro kit fitted by the Ford dealer?

They make even more money from you, then laugh about it when they reject your first warranty claim?

It would be pretty rude of them not to warrant it, just another thing to talk over with the dealer before purchasing mods.

Hi guys, the warranty on a Falcon is 3 years and a 100k right? If I by one second hand is that warranty transferable? How much cna be done to the T and the XR8 before they will void your warranty?

Hi Scotty, Warranty is not the only thing, make sure you can get full insurance in writing for the mods you propose prior to having them fitted, it could get ugly if you write off a $150k Merc only to be told your insurance is void due to your car being unroadworthy due to the mods, better to be safe than sorry. I tell all my insurances/companies everything, even in writing and get them to verify they have it in writing, insurance costs heaps, I give them no way to screw me, I've seen people screwed out of payouts over fine print and details, call me overcautious I dont care

Mate if the dealer says yeah, yeah no problems we'll cover the standard warranty with that mod, get them to put it into writing. If they're prepared to do that, your bum is covered (although I doubt there would be any that'd do it).
