Well it is an Ad!. What would you suggest if you were doing the advertising for Magna AWD, and you had flagging sales over XR who cant even build em fast enough?

Car makers resort to all sorts of crap to sell cars. Its an illustrative point.

Dont be so sensitive! they certainly got your attention. Good on em. They havent in the past and that's why jokers dont buy em!

BTW they dont have brake shudder and they dont fall apart!

Dallas, I dont care about the ad my concern is that your comment (BTW they dont have brake shudder and they dont fall apart!)

I feel it is derogative and you are saying that everybody with an xr6/t

will see brake shudder and there car will fall apart. I think it is uncalled for I dont fancy Bmw`s to me they are a poor mans merc and they have had there share of probs too. As a mod I would not expect you to not bag a product that we support. You had one you had problems that's fair enough but you sold it and bought a Bmw ,where does your loyalty lie now. I dont really care but as a mod I would expect more caution from your comments on how other people may view them

regards

Stang

Oh well it appears that I have been threatend with a warning because of my last post as it is not up to site members to question moderators (Dallas)on comments that they dont agree with or athat are seen as derogative they just get emails speaking to them as they are children. I`m sorry I still dont agree with you and I dont think being a mod makes you right. I dont like being bullied I know this post wont be up long but I can not sit and take your insult you want to give me a warning then give it.

Personally Stang I didn't feel that your post was vindictive in any major sense but on the other hand maybe the comments on the T 'falling apart' by Dallas was a little OTT though he does still have enough interest to moderate this site, a hard job I expect.

Will be interesting to see the outcome of all of this???

I dont have a problem with dallas as a Mod but it is his comment about the t falling apart . he bought bmw into the conversation if it accepatable for him to state that the above it should be acceptable for me to post my view on Bmw`s. Mods should have tha same rules as everyone else on the forum as I hope the other mods on the forum would agree. I posted that I did not like his post he ignored it and tried to justify it. Personally I am over it just dissapointed I guess.

Stang

Thanks for your support,

Any other mods intrested in following this I dont mind, but I do beleive there should be a duty to the members to be treated fairly as opposed to running off on power trips, have been a member for 6 months and never had any prob`s.

Seeing that you would prefer to reply publicly rather than by email of which I responded to you, I will clarify my point. Magnas do not generally suffer from brake shudder, they do not rattle or fall apart. (I have owned 3) My comments "fall apart" was one of a generic nature refering to a host of isses that seem current with the T. not all T's are problematic. mine wasnt too bad. not really good enoguth though for 50 k car and I am not the only one to think this BTW

I am personlly glad that yuor car is perfect in your eyes and I am glad your car doesnt suffer for shudder. Plenty of them do (refer our most popular thread). I might ad I have spent A LOT OF MY OWN TIME discussing this with Ford in thepast to no avail BTW.

Its just an ad and that's all, Mitsi will run out of money and you wont see it agian after a week or two.

I would prefer you to keep your personal comments about moderating to yourself or better still email me if you have a beef! Contents of email sent are personal and I direct to to the Forum rules.

Her endeth the debate on this one!

Dallas

Magna's do not suffer from brake shudder no more than fords, holdens, toyotas, kias, nissans.to name just a few.

They all suffer from it.

As for magna faster than baxrt I think they need to comprere apples with apples than magna is a lot lighter and smaller car.

I highly doubt anyone here would drive their XR hard on a dirt road except for Scotty ofcourse  !

I wouldn't do that, I wouldn't honest. I'd get out & walk like cro has to.
