Any ways, I have a question... the other day I was lining up my mate in his ss, and when I dropped the clutch, the car wouldn't move - the revs were up in the 6 thou mark!!!! But, it was like the clutch was just spinning!!!!! my car only has 2000 ks on it! Anyone know what's happening here and how it can be rectified!!! ps. I tried it again without dropping the clutch and blew my mate away!!! cheersfranki

But I suppose the overall effects would be the same anyway!!!! is there anyway to avoid clutch slipping (and not the obvious answers guys!!!) and can anyone explain y it happens exactly??thanks franki
19/06/04 02:06 AM19/06/04 02:06 AM #6 There has been a thread on this before.... a few of us have had the same thing happen... I also had it when I had 2000km on the clock (now 10000km). Maybe there is still greased up parts in the car from the factory, hence the slip.... Since that time I have never had it happen.
